Beginner Whitewater Rafting Trip
Get ready to grab a paddle and hit the river! This Colorado rafting trip on Clear Creek is the perfect introduction to whitewater rafting. Designed with beginners in mind, this trip is fun, fast-paced, and packed with excitement from start to finish.
Expect plenty of splash-filled action as you navigate continuous Class II–III rapids. These sections are playful and frequent, so you should be prepared to get wet while working your way down the river. It’s an ideal Clear Creek rafting experience for families, with a minimum age requirement of 7 years old.
Because early-season water temperatures can be quite cold, wetsuits are strongly recommended. Wetsuits, booties, and splash jackets are available to rent to help keep you comfortable throughout your trip.
Each raft typically holds up to 7 guests. In some cases, group sizes or raft capacity may be adjusted based on water levels or weight distribution for safety and performance. We do our best to keep parties together, but there is a small chance your group may be split between multiple rafts if needed.

Intermediate Whitewater Rafting Trip
Take your Colorado rafting trip to the next level with this intermediate Clear Creek adventure! This is our most popular option for teens and adults. This Class III–IV experience showcases some of the best whitewater Clear Creek rafting has to offer, combining continuous action with just the right amount of challenge.
You’ll work together as a team to navigate the river, with active paddling required throughout the trip. This adventure is suitable for both first-time paddlers and experienced rafters, but participants should be prepared to stay engaged and paddle consistently. Good physical condition and the ability to swim are strongly recommended.
Because early-season water temperatures can be cold, wetsuits are highly recommended for comfort. Wetsuits, booties, and splash jackets are available for rent.
The minimum age for this trip is 13 years old.
Rafts typically carry up to 7 guests, though capacity may be adjusted depending on water levels or weight distribution for safety. We make every effort to keep groups together, but in rare cases your party may be split between rafts if conditions require it.
* This trip will run on the Upper or Lower Canyon depending on water levels.
